The squad for the visit to Athletic Club

The League returns and on Sunday Ernesto Valverde's team will visit Athletic Club for a fixture that corresponds to week 23 of the competition. For this match, which will be played at the Nou San Mamés at 8.45pm CET, Valverde has called up 19 players.

They are: Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Coutinho, Suárez, Messi, O. Dembélé, Malcom, Lenglet, Murillo, Boateng, S. Roberto, Aleñá, Vidal, Vermaelen, Miranda and Iñaki Peña.

Todibo and Samper have been left out by technical decision, whilst Arthur, Rafinha, Cillessen and Umtiti are injured and Jordi Alba is suspended.

Last session and medical discharge for Dembélé

This Saturday the team trained for the last time before the match against Athletic Club, a session that had the players available from the first team working out on the Tito Vilanova field, as well as Umtiti who did part of the training with the team. Iñaki Peña and Miranda of Barça B and Arnau Tenas of the U19A side made up the numbers.

There was also good news in the form of a medical discharge for Ousmane Dembélé.
