Araujo, Gündoğan and Lewandowski included in LaLiga's 'Team Of The Season'

With the league reaching its final stages, La Liga has announced its 'Team of the Season', a list of the 15 best players of the season. Three blaugranes have been included on the list: Ronald Araujo, Ilkay Gündoğan and Robert Lewandowski. This list rewards the best players in each position with Barça have a representative in all outfield positions this season. 

Araujo, leader in defence 

The Uruguayan has been recognised for his excellent campaign, becoming the leader of the blaugrana defence. The Barça number 4 is a key figure in Xavi Hernández's defensive set up .

Gündoğan, the midfield wizard

The German midfielder, in his first season at Barça, has also been included in the 'Team of the Season.' The blaugrana is already a key component in the centre of the park for Barça and his experience is invaluable. His 13 assists this season in all competition is a personal record and shows his value to the squad. 

Lewandowski, a reference point in attack 

Two out of two for the Polish striker in the La Liga 'Team of the Season' for the second season in a row. Last season, his first at the Club, saw him end the campaign as 'pichichi', the league's top goalscorer, and this season his form has continued as he is once again Barça top scorer in all competitions. 

Three Barça goals, candidates for goal of the season 

The blaugranes have picked up more than a few awards from La Liga during the season. With the campaign almost at a close, Barça have three contenders for the best goal of the league campaign: João Cancelo's effort against Betis at home, Lamine Yamal's stunning strike against Mallorca and João Félix's acrobatic goal against Cádiz. A popular vote will decide the winner - let's see if it will be blaugrana.
