Barça celebrate 'Sant Jordi' with a stand in the centre of Barcelona and discounts on tickets

FC Barcelona would like to celebrate Sant Jordi day this year by bringing itself closer to the people of the city, remembering its Catalan and Barcelona roots and offering up professional sports events at unbeatable prices. 

On Tuesday 23 April, the Club will be present in the most traditional of ways; with a book and rose stand in the centre of the city of Barcelona. An initiative that will give Barça visibility on a day when thousands of people take to the streets to celebrate culture, tradition and Catalan identity. 

The stand will be on the corner of Carrer Rosselló and Rambla de Catalunya and there  items from the Barça Books imprint will be on sale as well as charity roses, the proceeds from which will go the 'Joves Futur' project, an initiative from the Barça Foundation that promote the use of Catalan amongst young migrants to help them integrate and succeed in the labour market. 

The roses from the stand are not just special for their philanthropic value; they also have a special official blaugrana wrap that contains special messages created by the men's and women's football first team players. The messages written can be seen on 23 April on the Club's social media and feature Ona Batlle, Bruna, Jana, Claudia Pina, Marta Torrejón, Marc-André ter Stegen, Marc Guiu, Fermín, Oriol Romeu and Sergi Roberto.

Important discount for tickets 

The day itself also brings with it important discounts for men's and women's football matches and Professional Sports matches as well as for the Barça Immersive Tour.

Residents in Catalonia will have a 25% discount for the next Barça game, against Valencia at home on 29 April, as well as tickets priced at €11 for the Barça Immersive Tour.

For the wider public, packs of basketball tickets for the league playoffs and the Euroleague playoff are available from €86. For next season, packs of tickets for Barça Women matches are on sale from €65, Handball from €145, Futsal from €104 and Roller Hockey from €69. 

Book signings at shops at Canaletes and Passeig de Gràcia

To complete Sant Jordi, various authors from the Barça Books imprint and of Barça related material will be at the Barça Stores at Canaletes and Passeig de Gràcia in the centre of Barcelona for book signings. The timetable is as follows:
