Vicky Losada

Vicky Losada (Terrassa, Barcelona, 1991) will always have a place in Barça history as the player who lifted the team's first ever Champions League trophy

Vicky Losada grew up at a time when there were no real female role models in football and so her heroes were the likes of Pep Guardiola, Xavi Hernández and Andrés Iniesta. She began playing with her local side in Terrassa before making her Barça debut in August 2006 at the age of just 15 in a Copa Catalunya game against Espanyol.

The midfielder had four separate spells as a blaugrana between 2006 and 2021 with time at Espanyol, Western New Nork Flash and Arsenal FC in between. A talented playmaker who always made the right decision, Losada won 24 trophies as a blaugrana, including the team's first ever Champions League title which she lifted as captain following the win over Chelsea in Gothenburg in May 2021.

At the end of that magical seasons, Losada left the club to take up a new challenge at Manchester City.
